I've been thinking about trying a Brazilian for the first time — should I be nervous?
A little nervousness is normal and expected — we hear it every day. Here’s the truth: it’s less uncomfortable than people imagine, especially with hard wax (which we use), and it gets easier each time as the hair grows back finer. Your esthetician will explain every step before she begins, and the entire service happens in a private room with the door closed. Mention it’s your first time when you book and you’ll get 25% off.
How long should my hair be for the best results?
About 1/4 inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you typically shave, that’s 2-3 weeks of growth. If your hair is longer than 1/2 inch, your esthetician will trim it down before waxing. Don’t shave between waxes — it disrupts the growth cycle and makes future waxes more uncomfortable.
Do you offer waxing for men? My partner wants to try.
Yes — about 10-15% of our clients are men. Men’s services include Brazilians (we sometimes call this a “Manzilian”), full back waxing, chest, shoulders, and facial waxing. All services happen in the same private rooms with the same professional team. If your partner is nervous about being the only guy at a wax studio, let him know he won’t be — and our team handles male services with zero awkwardness.
Are your rooms private?
Yes — every appointment is in a private treatment room with the door closed. We have 7 rooms across 2 floors in our 2,000 square foot studio. You’re never in a shared space, never separated by just a curtain, never overheard. This is one of the most common compliments we get from Goffstown clients who’ve tried chain studios first.
How long do waxing results last?
Most clients re-book every 4-5 weeks. First-time waxes typically last 3-4 weeks before noticeable regrowth, but as your hair gets accustomed to waxing, growth slows down. Long-term clients often stretch to 5-6 weeks between Brazilian visits.
