It’s calmer than you probably imagine. You’ll check in at the front desk, fill out a brief form if it’s your first visit, and be brought to a private treatment room. Your esthetician will walk you through what to expect, answer questions, and begin. The room is yours alone with the door closed the entire time. Most first-time clients say the visit was less stressful than they expected.
How often will I need to come in to keep up with Brazilian waxing?
Most clients establish a 4-5 week cycle. For the first 2-3 waxes the hair grows back at uneven rates, but once you’re on a regular schedule the hair grows in slower, thinner, and more sparsely. Many of our long-term Londonderry clients move to a 6-week cycle once their hair growth has adjusted.
Is waxing safe during pregnancy?
Yes — waxing is safe throughout pregnancy and many clients continue their regular Brazilian schedule through their third trimester. Skin sensitivity does increase during pregnancy, so the experience can be slightly more uncomfortable, but it’s medically safe.
