Ever wish you could spend 15 minutes with a skincare professional just asking about your specific skin concerns? Questions from why you are developing tiny nearly invisible bumps, or why all of a sudden you are noticing uneven skin tone, to what is the best anti-aging regimen for your skin type. Well, now you can! We are pleased to announce our Virtual Skin Care Evaluation service via videoconferencing.
Our goal is to identify and help you treat facial skincare concerns before they are allowed to fester.
Within this consultation, your Esthetician will ask you about your daily skin care routine and your concerns. She or he may make recommendations for technique, product, or treatment (we’re assuming you’re not seeking a consultation just to show off your 100% perfect skin).
If you choose to come in for treatment, your Esthetician will recommend a customized facial for your skin type, including selecting the products needed to treat your condition at this time. That means no two facials are exactly alike, and you get what you need when you need it!
You’re probably wondering how this works…
If you are already familiar with using Zoom for online meetings, then your 15-minute consultation will be really easy and convenient. If you have never used online conferencing before, and in particular Zoom, then you will need to do some preparation PRIOR to your appointment. You won’t want to waste a precious minute of your consultation time because you cannot connect right away.
Step 1: At least 20 minutes PRIOR to your scheduled evaluation, open your web browser and log into your email account.
Step 2: Find and open the Virtual Skin Care Evaluation Link email from The Wax Specialists which contains your Zoom invite.
Step 3: Click on the invite link and if you do not already have Zoom installed, it will redirect you to a webpage where you can download the Zoom app on your device.
Step 4: Once the Zoom software is downloaded on your device, install and open it. If you have clicked into Zoom from the email link, it should automatically open The Wax Specialists Virtual Conference Zoom Room. If that does not open, go back to your email click on the invite link again. You should then see a prompt to open the link in the Zoom app.
Step 5: Grant the necessary permissions to the Zoom app to use your camera and microphone in order to get started and join the meeting.
NOTE: If you arrive in the Zoom room before your Esthetician, you will see a message: Waiting for the host to start this meeting. While you are waiting, you can click the link to test your audio and video. If your Esthetician is already online you will remain in the Waiting Room until your session begins.
To get the most out of your meeting, please make sure your camera and microphone are working, that you are in a quiet location, and that you have adequate lighting. If your Esthetician cannot clearly see you or hear you, it will impact their ability to give you the best information they can.
Introductory Special
Between October 15 and November 30, 2020, we are offering the Virtual Skincare Evaluation via Zoom meeting for only $10 (after Nov 30, the price will be $20 per 15-minute session). The appointment is booked through our Online Appointment Scheduler. We will email the “paperwork” prior to your appointment.
If an at-home treatment is recommended for your skincare concern, and you would like to purchase professional quality products, we do offer curbside pickup. Your Esthetician can make that arrangement for you.
If you would be better served by an in-studio treatment, your appointment for a facial can be booked online or through your Esthetician. They will know the right type of facial treatment to address your specific issue.
