Our valued and deeply missed clients;
Everyone here at The Wax Specialists are anxiously awaiting your return. As we continue to prepare to re-open on June 1st, 2020, the health and safety of not only you, our clients, but our staff as well, is of the utmost importance. My Estheticians and all of my Receptionists have attended COVID-19 certification.
Although you will notice some changes here at The Wax Specialists, our dedication to offering you the highest quality of service has not. We have always kept our studio clean and sanitized using non-toxic and natural disinfectants. I have personally contacted a professional company to completely sanitize and disinfect The Wax Specialists using an EPA registered product with a low toxicity rating.
In working in accordance with the State Board of Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics, the New Hampshire Re-Open Task Force, and The Governors office, we ask that you remain patient as we navigate these new and uncharted waters together.
The Wax Specialists and I would like to share with you some new policies and procedures that we have put in place in order to keep everyone safe.
- Everyone entering the salon will be required to wear a cloth face covering at all times, including our employees. If you do not have a face mask one will be provided to you prior to your appointment.
- All forms and waivers will be sent to our client’s e-mail address on file before their scheduled appointment and will need to be electronically signed through the attached message prior to arrival.
- We ask that if clients have a referral or birthday coupon or if they are using a gift card, please have this ready at the time of the scheduled appointment.
- We ask that clients arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to their appointment.
- When our clients arrive at The Wax Specialists, we ask that they call the salon upon arrival. At this time, from the safety of our client’s car, the following will occur:
- Pre-Pay for scheduled services, including any gratuity, please note that cash will be accepted, but at this time we are unable to make change.
- Purchase of any retail products needed via curbside pickup and delivery.
- Book a follow-up appointment.
- We will continue to make the ATM available to our clients, but again at this time, we are unable to make change.
- We are committed to sanitizing and disinfecting all common areas and hot spots, before and after each client.
- At this time, we ask that no visitors, guests, children, or pets accompany our clients to their appointments. At this time we will still accommodate service animals when necessary.
- At this time, we ask that all personal items be left in our client’s private vehicle, including purse and coat. We ask that you only bring in your keys and if necessary your cell phone and credit card.
- For the safety and security of our clients, all vehicles are monitored by closed-circuit cameras and the Receptionist at all times during operating hours.
- When the Esthetician is ready, clients will be called and asked to follow the outside signage to the door assigned to their specific Esthetician.
- Upon entry to the salon, all clients will have their temperature taken via an infrared thermal forehead scanner, and the option will be given to wash their hands in the restroom or have sanitizer spritzed into their hands by the Receptionist. We ask that clients do not wear gloves within the salon.
- Please note, per CDC and the State Board of Barbering, Cosmetology and Esthetics guidelines, if a client presents with a temperature, a full refund of appointment price and any gratuity will be returned to the card presented. The client’s appointment will then be rescheduled for a later date.
We at The Wax Specialists have taken extreme measures to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff. Directional signage has been placed on the building to indicate which entry and exit door will be used for clients of specific Estheticians. ‘6ft social distancing’ as well as ‘seating not available’ signage has been placed throughout the salon to remind both our clients and employees of our commitment to safety. All appointment times have been adjusted to ensure a complete COVID-19 room sanitation and disinfectant procedures before and after each client.
Please feel free to contact the salon if you have any questions or concerns. My skilled team of Estheticians and I look forward to seeing all of you again.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
